Delete Your TradeGuru Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your TradeGuru Electrical account and the data associated with
it. TradeGuru Electrical (com.tradeguru.electrical) is operated by Trade Guru Pty Ltd in Australia.
You can delete your account from inside the app, or request deletion by email without reinstalling the app.
1. Delete from inside the app
- Open TradeGuru and go to Settings.
- Under the Account section, tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Continue and confirm.
Your account is signed out and deletion is requested immediately. You do not need to contact us separately.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, or you have already uninstalled it, email privacy@tradeguru.com.au from the email address on your TradeGuru account with the subject line Account deletion request. We verify the request before acting on it, and may ask you to confirm ownership of the account.
3. What is deleted
A completed deletion removes the personal information we hold about you, including:
- Your account profile, sign-in identifiers, and user ID.
- Conversations, prompts, AI responses, ratings, and feedback.
- Images, documents, audio recordings, and transcripts you uploaded.
- Usage history, device identifiers, and device-to-account links.
- Entitlement and subscription-validation records held by our backend.
4. What may be retained, and for how long
Verified deletion requests are actioned within 30 days. Some records may remain for limited periods after that in encrypted backups, security logs, app-store purchase records, third-party provider logs, and accounting or legal records, where we are required or permitted to keep them. These are retained only as long as reasonably needed and are not used to rebuild your account.
Deleting your TradeGuru account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Manage or cancel an active subscription in the Google Play Store or App Store before deleting your account.
